Time to say goodbye ProCargo CT1

The ProCargo CT1 cargo bike was taken out of the programme.

We say “Goodbye, ProCargo CT1”. We did not take this decision lightly, but the product line around the ProCargo CT1 cargo bike will be discontinued.

In the coming years, we will focus more strongly on our core business, which revolves around light commercial vehicles for trade and service. This also includes our mySortimo services, which will be further optimised and expanded in 2021 in order to make our customers’ everyday mobile work easier in the long term with a complete service.

In trade and service, we were only able to serve a niche with the ProCargo CT1, which is why there is too little potential for us to continue the product line.

Furthermore, market observations have shown that cargo bicycles are mostly requested and used in the leisure sector. For this type of application, the ProCargo CT1 with its sophisticated superstructure systems is too complex in construction and therefore only suitable to a limited extent overall. For the leisure sector, the ProCargo is still available in a similar design from HNF Nicolai under the name CD1.

Our customer service colleagues will pass on your enquiry to one of our Sortimo service partners or alternatively support you in finding a suitable service partner.

Spare parts

If you need model-specific spare parts, you can also request and obtain them from our Customer Service Centre until the end of the warranty period of two years.

You can obtain regular bicycle components and wear parts from any well-stocked local specialist bicycle shop.

  • This is sad but understandable news. Is there any way to still get the accessories such as basket Unit or cargo boxes through your service? I noticed that these have also been removed from your websites.
