For more than 5 years, the leading small parts manufacturer Fischer uses the high-quality L-BOXX as a packaging or carrier medium for its own products. This gives users the advantage of being able to easily and conveniently transport the consumables they need on a construction site via the Sortimo L-BOXXes.

Mobile Material Service

A pilot project for optimized material management.

The innovative joint project "Mobile Material Service" was launched in 2016 by Sortimo International GmbH, the fischer Group and Mercedes-Benz Vans in order to take material management in service vehicles to a new level through intelligent networking.

Stock and inventory is reduced, reorder errors eliminated, and the procurement process made faster, leaner, and more efficient, with all consumables ordered and sorted via the Sortimo Refill app with just one click thanks to near-field communication tags be delivered directly to the vehicle.

Fischer and Sortimo have analyzed the findings from this pilot project and would like to use these for further cooperation and further develop and optimize the idea for their customers.

FISCO

A joint venture for innovative fiber composite solutions.

From the common goals and the partnership cooperation between the fastening specialist fischer and the Sortimo International GmbH, a joint venture has emerged - the FISCO GmbH. The joint venture, which was founded in May 2015, is involved in the development, production and sale of components made of fiber-reinforced plastics for the construction industry.

These products, with the use of new materials, offer higher technical performance characteristics while being easy to process and provide feature-integrated system solutions. FISCO is thus setting new standards in prefabricated modular construction and supporting sustainable construction.
