Sortimo, leading manufacturer of van racking systems and mobile transport solutions, is presenting a new cooperation with the renowned mobility provider SIXT at the IAA Transportation in Hanover. Together, the companies have developed a rental service that makes it possible to rent light commercial vehicles with Sortimo's innovative racking systems quickly, flexibly and in line with demand.

the Vision Van - a pioneering concept for equipping light commercial vehicles - at the IAA 
Transportation 2024 in Hall 13, Stand C34. The aim is to set new standards in the integration 
of light commercial vehicles and mobility solutions in order to offer customers customised 
and flexible mobility solutions from a single source. The vision goes far beyond the product. 
The entire value stream is to be synchronised so that all industry solutions can be handed 
over to customers as turnkey solutions. Reinforcement for sustainable growth and

IAA Transportation 2024 sets the stage for a strategic cooperation between the German market leader for van-racking systems, Sortimo, and the leading Chinese manufacturer of electric vehicles, BYD. Both companies are pooling their expertise and presenting solutions for light commercial vehicles at the BYD stand at the IAA Transportation that are specially tailored to the requirements of the CEP sector (courier, express and parcel services) and trade businesses.

With the growing use of electric vehicles, vehicles are becoming increasingly compact, while batteries take up valuable space in the loading area. Urban areas also demand smaller, more manoeuvrable vehicles. Sortimo is responding to these challenges by further developing the Jumbo Unit and the SR5 Reduced to Max racking system, which make optimal use of the available storage space. Both products are characterised by their lightweight construction, which not only increases the payload but also helps to save energy. These efficient loading space solutions offer maximum efficiency even when space is limited and can be experienced live at the Sortimo stand, Hall 13, C34, at the IAA Transportation.

Sortimo, the leading supplier of van racking systems and intelligent mobility solutions, is 
celebrating a world premiere at the IAA Transportation 2024 in Hanover together with 
Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles (VWN). As part of this collaboration, an innovative van 
racking system will be presented under the motto ‘One Click - Endless Possibilities’, which 
was developed exclusively for Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles. The system impresses 
with its high flexibility and reusability over several vehicle life cycles, which makes it 
particularly sustainable and cost-efficient.

The course for the future is being set in Zusmarshausen. Sortimo International GmbH, a leading provider of in-vehicle equipment and mobile transport solutions, announces the strategic expansion of its management team. As of 1 May 2024, Matthias Klupsch, Peter Siegle and Thomas Unger will join the existing management team around Managing Partners Reinhold Braun and Klaus Emler.

The LCV Expert Day in Brussels is opening its doors for the second time to provide insights into the latest developments in fleet management and the commercial vehicle industry. This event, initiated by Sortimo in partnership with Fleet Europe, the leading magazine for fleet and mobility management in Europe, builds on the success of its premiere at Sortimo's headquarters in Zusmarshausen and creates space for intensive knowledge exchange and active networking.
