Sortimo Control System: Vehicle, interior fittings and work equipment intelligently connected thanks to ‘work smarter’

With the new Sortimo Control System (SCS), Sortimo is connecting the vehicle, its interior fittings and work equipment within a single central application for the first time. Using an app, users can, amongst other things, control lighting and electronic locking systems, as well as monitor the load and work equipment. This reduces the number of operating and monitoring steps and creates greater transparency and safety in day-to-day mobile working. At IAA Transportation 2026, Sortimo is showcasing the new system for the first time in the Volkswagen ID. Buzz and Transporter.

Sortimo BOXX: New mobile transport solution expands the Sortimo EcoSystem

The new Sortimo BOXX combines transport, organisation and vehicle fittings in a flexible system. Drawer units, tool and small parts organisers can be integrated into the vehicle, removed as required and used directly at the job site. Compatibility with the Sortimo Grid, the L-BOXX and the Sortimo Rail System (SRS) integrates the new product family into existing Sortimo solutions. The first drawer units can be configured with immediate effect and will be available from February 2027.

Vehicles change, requirements evolve – the Sortimo Rail System (SRS) remains flexible to use. With a new folding shelving unit for the CEP sector and the SRS Rent & Repurpose rental model, Sortimo is expanding the system with two solutions for cost-effective and adaptable fleet operations. Fittings can be used flexibly, reused or rented for a defined period, thereby enabling their use across multiple vehicle life cycles. SRS is also available as an SRS Inside factory option from leading vehicle manufacturers.
