sContainer - the customizable service depot in pallet format

The sContainer is Sortimo's answer to the demand for innovative mobility concepts and serves as a customizable depot for service, trade, construction and logistics. Presented as a study at the IAA Commercial Vehicles 2018, the sContainer has been available for order since the beginning of the year. Sortimo customers can order it directly online or receive advice from Sortimo experts via the nationwide sales network. Due to its basic dimensions in euro-pallet format and the fact that it is designed for industrial trucks, Sortimo's sContainer fits into standardized logistics and transport chains. The depot is available in two heights (1200 and 1900 mm) and can be used for a wide range of applications. It can be used as a service or construction site container, transport cabinet on platform trucks or as a hub for logistics companies. Tools, machines and consumables are available directly at the place of use and are safely deposited.

SR5 interior equipment for more order

Inside, the container can optionally be equipped with an SR5 shelving system to create storage space on several levels and provide additional load securing. The interior is easily accessible through a large door as standard. The resistant SoboGrip is used as floor surface. For applications where gases are transported, an additional ventilation system in the form of a roof fan can be integrated, which ensures permanent air exchange in accordance with Dekra certification - a floor fan is installed as standard. 

Robust material and Euro-pallet format

The solid floor assembly made of powder-coated sheet steel allows a payload of up to 500 kg and is also shaped like a euro pallet. Accordingly, the sContainer can be picked up and transported by industrial trucks. For movement at the place of use, crane eyes are available in the accessories program, which can be attached to the lid assembly of the container and thus allow it to be moved with a crane. The shell surface is made of powder-coated sheet steel and the plastic hood reliably prevents the ingress of rainwater.

Sortimo offers three different locks to protect the materials stored in the sContainer against theft. The most economical variant is the padlock, which provides solid protection against theft. Alternatively you can choose a cylinder lock or the high-end version, an electronic combination lock.

Perfect advertising opportunity

The outer shell of the sContainer is an ideal advertising space on which company logos or other graphics can be applied. The design can be individually created using Sortimo's labelling configurator at mysortimo.de/graphics. This way the customer receives a complete package from one source.
