The system for every purpose: Sortimo Rail System (SRS) now available ex-works from Stellantis

Sortimo, the leading provider of vehicle equipment and smart mobility solutions, is joining forces with Stellantis to celebrate the launch of the Sortimo Rail System (SRS) on the Stellantis Pro One CustomFit personalisation tool. The innovative system can now be configured and ordered ex-works for various commercial vehicle models from the Citroën, Fiat, Opel and Peugeot brands.

The Sortimo Rail System fulfils two functions at once: it secures the load and serves as a stable base for the flexible vehicle interior fittings. These can be snapped into place and removed without tools if required. The idea: a reusable system that allows commercial vehicles to be quickly adapted to changing customer requirements and users.

Greater flexibility in day-to-day work
With the SRS, adjustments to the load compartment can be made quickly and without the need for workshop appointments: the vehicle equipment can be installed in or removed from the vehicle without tools, even whilst the vehicle is in operation. Whether it’s changing tasks, different users or used vehicles: the vehicle adapts flexibly – not the other way round. Furthermore, the Sortimo Rail System is designed to allow fittings to be reused across multiple vehicle cycles.

At the heart of the solution is the factory-fitted basic equipment in the vehicle. This comprises the SRS rails for the walls and floor, the SoboGrip mounting floor and the SowaFlex side wall panelling, as well as two ratchet lashing straps (3.5 m). Three pre-configured packages for the service, electrical and HVAC sectors can be ordered ex-works.
