XL-BOXX ADR

Thanks to its large storage volume, the XL-BOXX ADR is excellent for the transport of machines and tools. Battery-operated cordless tools are now widely used as electrical hand-held power tools. The XL-BOXX ADR is therefore approved as a transport container for the transport of dangerous goods in accordance with the ADR, RID, IMDG Code, UN Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods, ICAO-TI and IATA-DGR. However, the approval only applies when used in conjunction with the lid insert supplied and a specified foam insert. This can be quickly and simply selected through our mySortimo inlay service and individually adapted to the goods you need to transport. The maximum usable internal dimensions are 525 x 302 x 109 mm³ and the gross weight of the XL-BOXX may not exceed 12.6 kg (≈ 9 kg load).

The XL-BOXX expands the L-BOXX system to include a fully compatible, spacious and well-thought-out machine and transport box. Boasting storage space of around 30 litres, the BOXX accommodates even bulky, heavy and unwieldy equipment, which can be stored properly and transported efficiently and in a time-saving manner thanks to the system concept. The XL-BOXX offers plenty of space and can also be divided up individually and for each application, using slot-in dividers that can be positioned as required and close flush with the cover. This allows L-BOXX inlays and accessories to be used unrestrictedly in the XL-BOXX. For custom solutions, the interior can be arranged flexibly and adapted ideally to the cargo using mySortimo inlay foam inlays. The functional design impresses through its low net weight, while still completely fulfilling requirements in terms of robustness, load-carrying capacity and transport protection. This way, machines, tools and consumables to be transported are ideally protected against external influences and damage. The concept behind the Sortimo EcoSystem also takes top priority with the XL-BOXX. This is particularly evident when it comes to compatibility with other BOXXes. The entire L-BOXX family can be connected to the XL-BOXX using the cover and transported efficiently as a combined unit.
