With mySortimo inlay you can create individual inlays for Sortimo cases, BOXXes, SR drawers and drawers for van racking systems and WorkMos online. Tradespeople and service engineers can benefit from optimum organisation in their day-to-day work life, as hand tools can be transported in their respective containers in a clear, well-arranged and space-saving manner thanks to the foam inlays. Unproductive time spent searching for the right tool is eliminated. Forgetting tools is also a thing of the past, since it is immediately apparent when something is missing. With mySortimo inlay, Sortimo offers its customers another tool for the latest methods of workplace organisation in terms of 5S. This leads to significantly improved efficiency in your everyday work life and optimises work processes.

With the new online service mySortimo inlay, service engineers, tradespeople and DIYers now have the possibility to create entirely individual and tailor-made foam inlays for storing tools, sensitive equipment and machines in Sortimo BOXXes, cases, SR drawers and drawers of Sortimo van racking systems and the WorkMo. 

With mySortimo inlay, tradespeople and service engineers benefit from a number of advantages in their daily work. Expensive tools and sensitive equipment are protected in the robust foam inlays against damage and wear and tear during transport. In addition, the two-colour combination of blue base body and black top layer allows missing parts to be quickly identified, which prevents the loss of expensive tools or equipment and saves additional costs for replacement. Work processes are significantly optimised in line with the Japanese 5S method, which aims to improve workplaces in terms of organisation and tidiness through the systematic and standardised storage of tools and materials. 

Everything has its own place and is quickly on hand at all times, enabling tradespeople and service engineers to achieve maximum productivity and efficiency in their day-to-day work – but also to quicken the pulse of the DIYer. 

Specially designed according to the customer’s individual requirements, rigid foam inlays can be created for the selected container in just a few steps using the mySortimo inlay online configurator. The intuitive and custom design service is available 24/7 on mySortimo.de. Customers also benefit from full price transparency. No matter how many tools and materials the inlay is designed to hold – the customer always buys the inlay at a fixed price. Of course, Sortimo customers also have the option to upgrade their already installed Sortimo van racking with mySortimo inlays at a later date.

The custom foam inlay is quickly and easily configured on mySortimo.de in just four steps:

1. Select Sortimo container: The first step is to specify the Sortimo container – BOXX, case, SR drawer or drawer of the SR5 or Globelyst4 van racking system – the inlay is being created for. 
2. Enter tool: Then start the configuration by clicking the “Enter tool” button to take a photo of the tools to be placed in the container and load them into the configurator. To do this, simply place the tools on the photo underlay provided by Sortimo as a download and take a photo using a smartphone or digital camera. This process can be done with each tool individually or with several tools. The layout is not yet relevant for the actual configuration. The image is then uploaded. A specially developed algorithm recognises the outer contour and dimensions of the tools on the underlay so that they are optimally captured by the configurator. 
3. Configure the inlay: Once all tools have been fully uploaded, you can use various alignment and positioning functions to individually design the foam inlay. Recessed grips can also be provided for easy removal of the items. These can also be labelled. Optionally you can select tools from a tool database created by Sortimo. New tools are constantly being added to this database.  
4. Order: After you’ve checked all placements and specifications, the tool tray inlay can be ordered with just one click. The configured inlays are stored in your mySortimo account. This means that adjustments and repeat orders can easily be made at any time.
