New Generations of the L-BOXXes Family

Sortimo International GmbH will be rolling out a new generation of the popular L-BOXXes Family onto the market on 2nd May 2018. All L-BOXXes will bear the additional name G which distinguishes the new design in the trendy colour coolgrey. Furthermore the L-BOXX 102 and the L-BOXX 136 have been given extended functionalities and a new design which will therefore carry the additional name G4. The L-BOXX 102 G4 and the L-BOXX 136 G4 win kudos with a simplified handling which leads to time saving and as a result improved economic efficiency in the company, and all this at a low price. The entire L-BOXXes family will naturally remain compatible with each other as well as with the Sortimo systems. The new generation of the L-BOXXes Family can only be exclusively purchased via the Sortimo sales channels and has already been honoured with a variety of awards. It has won the German Design Award 2018, the if-Design Awards 2018 and the pro-K Awards 2017.

This year, Sortimo International GmbH will carry a new generation of the entire L-BOXXes Family onto the market and provide their customers with even more added value due to the extended functions. This change will be illustrated in the changeover to the trendy colour coolgrey and the additional “G” in the name. The compatibility of the new L-BOXXes G to the previous L-BOXXes Family as well as the entire Sortimo product portfolio remains a given, naturally.

Extended functionalities of the L-BOXX 102 G4 and the L-BOXX 136 G4

In addition to the new colouring of the L-BOXXes G Family, a new generation of the L-BOXX 102 and the L-BOXX 136 will be launched. The L-BOXX 102 and the L-BOXX 136 will be provided with further functions in order to create even more added value. This optimisation is reflected again in the addition of G4 to the name. The dirt resistant design of the new L-BOXX 102 G4 and the L-BOXX 136 G4 incorporate the new trendy colour coolgrey and an optimised form. The smooth and rounded surfaces of the L-BOXXes G4 prevent dirt accumulation and facilitate easier and quicker cleaning of the L-BOXX, leaving your customer with a positive impression.

Optimised click system and handling of the L-BOXXes G4

Furthermore, the new design and colour of the L-BOXX G4 stands out due to its extended functionalities for simpler handling: the patented click system is located directly on the cover of the new L-BOXXes, which makes it possible to open the L-BOXXes G4 series even when interconnected to several BOXXes. As a result the user has instant access to all the BOXXes contents even in an interconnected state. In addition the L-BOXXes G4 can be clicked together and separated again with only one hand in a matter of seconds due to its further developed click system. The ergonomically formed handle on the cover and front enable convenient carrying, depending on handling. Folding open of the handle is avoided due to the optimised function that clicks into place. Furthermore, as of now, an anti-theft protection is available for all BOXXes when interconnected with the aid of a steel cable or padlock. This not only gives more convenience, but also saves the craftsman valuable time as not every BOXX has to be secured individually. In practice, optimisation of the functionalities for the user means it makes work noticeably easier and saves time and thereby improves economic efficiency in the company.

The Interior space of the L-BOXXes G4

The altered shape enlarges the interior space even though the exterior dimensions remain the same, providing more stowage space in the new L-BOXXes G4 for tools, machinery and work materials. In addition the weight has reduced due to shape (L-BOXX 102 G4: 1.72 kg, previously 2.1 kg; L-BOXX 136 G4: 1.78 kg, previously 2.27 kg).

In addition to the L-BOXX 102 G4, there is also the new and exclusive Insetboxes modular grid integrated into the floor of the L-BOXX 136 G4 which enables the transport of small components and perfect organisation in Insetboxes. Tool cards can be fixated in the cover of the L-BOXX G4 by means of the attachment of an additional screw dome, which turns the L-BOXX G4 into a valuable tool box. The rubber loops and pockets in the tool card provide optimum stowage possibilities for tools such as screwdrivers or pliers. The tools are always ready at hand and their completeness can be checked at a glance.

Compatibility with the Sortimo System

The L-BOXXes G4 are compatible with the previous generation of the L-BOXXes Family, with all L-BOXXes G as well as the WorkMo and Sortimo van racking systems. They are, as usual, optimised to the flexible utilisation and application in the van racking system and provide even more extended possibilities for special requirements for the individual small component organisation in Insetboxes.

L-BOXXes G4 Awards

The L-BOXX G4 has already been honoured with awards from different independent institutes due to its optimised shape. Not only the new design but also the improved functionality and high grade quality workmanship have been confirmed through the awards; Winner of German Design Award, winner of the if-World Design Award and the pro-K Awards.

Availability

The price of the L-BOXXes G4 will be more attractive than that of the previous L-BOXXes 102 and 136 due to product optimisation. The new L-BOXX 102 G4 and L-BOXX 136 G4 as well as the entire L-BOXXes family G are available exclusively from Sortimo in all Sortimo Branch Offices and Stations as well as in the Sortimo online shop with an Online-price advantage, as of 1st May 2018.
